From £899 + VAT
Connect the OSCA tool to the vehicle, request the service you need, and one of our automotive specialists will complete the work remotely and securely. OSCA gives independent garages access to dealership-level technology and expertise on demand — without the usual dealership delays or the cost of owning multiple OEM diagnostic systems.
From diagnostics and software updates to ECU coding, key programming and immobiliser work, OSCA enables independent garages to complete complex dealer-level procedures through a single tool and a team of remote specialists.
What Can OSCA Help With?
- Vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
- ECU coding and programming
- Software updates
- Key programming and immobiliser work
- Module replacement and configuration
- Service functions and resets
- Security-related work through SERMI
How It Works
Step 1 — Plug the OSCA cable into the OBD port of the vehicle. If you have OSCA 2.0, connect the tool to your local network via Wi-Fi or LAN. We always recommend using a hardwired Ethernet connection where possible — a wired connection provides faster, more stable speeds than Wi-Fi and will give you the best experience when working remotely on a vehicle.
Step 2 — Log in to the OSCA system via the dedicated web address for the tool. Once logged in, you will see key metrics including ping rates so you can monitor the connection from your workshop to the OSCA servers.
Step 3 — Request the service you need through the OSCA platform. An OSCA specialist securely connects to the vehicle remotely and completes the work, while the on-site technician carries out any physical actions required at the vehicle. Our worldwide team is available at your fingertips — whether it's key programming, module programming or advanced fault diagnostics, they work together to resolve the problem while you get on with other jobs.
OSCA Launches Industry-First SERMI Integration
OSCA now integrates live SERMI status information directly into job lookups, helping workshops quickly identify whether security-related work requires SERMI certification before the job is booked.
Statuses include:
- Required
- Not Required
- Maybe Required
- Unknown
This provides greater visibility, fewer surprises and more confidence when booking security-related jobs. View the OSCA Application List for pricing examples and job requirements →
With or Without Subscription – Which Is Right for You?
No Subscription
Pay per job as you go. Ideal for workshops that carry out remote diagnostic work occasionally or are just getting started with OSCA. There are no ongoing subscription costs — you simply pay for each job when you need it.
With Subscription
Pay a subscription fee and benefit from a reduced per-job cost on every piece of work completed through the OSCA platform. The more you use OSCA, the more you save. For busy workshops that regularly carry out ECU coding, key programming, module programming or other remote diagnostic work, the subscription quickly pays for itself and delivers a significant saving over time.
If your workshop uses OSCA frequently, the subscription option is the better value choice. The reduced per-job pricing means the subscription cost is recovered quickly, and every job after that is completed at a lower cost than the pay-as-you-go rate.

Recommended: Battery Support Products
When carrying out remote programming and coding work, maintaining a stable vehicle battery voltage is essential. A drop in voltage during a procedure can cause errors or incomplete programming. We strongly recommend using a Topdon battery support unit alongside your OSCA tool:
- Topdon T120000 Battery Charger / 120A Support — heavy-duty support for demanding programming sessions
- Topdon T90000 Battery Charger / 90A Support — professional-grade battery support for workshop use
- Topdon Tornado T30000 Battery Charger 30A — compact battery support suitable for lighter programming tasks

OSCA Remote Diagnostics – Frequently Asked Questions
What is OSCA?
OSCA is a cloud-based remote diagnostics tool that connects independent garages to a network of specialist technicians who complete dealer-level work remotely and securely — including ECU coding, key programming, module programming, software updates and SERMI-certified security work.
How does OSCA work?
The technician plugs the OSCA device into the vehicle's OBD port and connects to the OSCA platform online. An OSCA specialist then connects remotely and completes the required work while the on-site technician handles any physical tasks at the vehicle.
Should I use Wi-Fi or a wired Ethernet connection with OSCA?
We always recommend using a hardwired Ethernet connection where possible. A wired connection provides faster, more stable speeds than Wi-Fi, which means a better experience for both the technician and the remote OSCA specialist working on the vehicle.
What is SERMI integration?
OSCA's SERMI integration shows live certification status directly in job lookups, so workshops know before booking whether security-related work requires SERMI certification — reducing surprises and improving job planning.
Who can use OSCA?
OSCA is suitable for independent garages, auto locksmiths, body shops and ADAS specialists — any workshop that needs dealer-level diagnostic capability without the cost of multiple OEM systems.
What types of work can OSCA complete?
OSCA covers vehicle diagnostics, ECU coding and programming, software updates, key programming, immobiliser work, module replacement and configuration, service resets and security-related work through SERMI.
What is the difference between the subscription and no-subscription options?
Without a subscription, you pay the standard per-job rate each time you use OSCA. With a subscription, you pay a recurring fee in exchange for a reduced per-job cost. For workshops that use OSCA regularly, the subscription delivers a meaningful saving over time. See the OSCA Application List for job pricing details.
Do I need a battery support unit with OSCA?
Yes, we strongly recommend using a battery support unit during remote programming and coding work to maintain stable vehicle voltage throughout the procedure. We recommend the Topdon T120000, Topdon T90000 or Topdon Tornado T30000.
